Terms and Conditions 2020

All goods and services purchased through this website are supplied under the following Terms and Conditions, unless specifically agreed otherwise, in writing by the Management of PureSoundHiFi.co.nz.
We reserve the right to vary our Terms and Conditions without prior notice, whenever we deem that to be necessary.


When making purchases through the Website, you are making an offer to purchase goods at the price specified, or at a price agreed to between you and the Management of the Website. While all reasonable efforts are made to ensure availability of stock for that sale, shortages and mistakes occasionally occur, we therefore reserve the right to refuse, or refund any sale where stock shortages or any other circumstances have made it impossible for us to complete the sale. If payment has been accepted our refund policy will apply. We do not under any circumstances accept cancellations on "Special Orders" after the order has been placed with Distributors and Suppliers. 

When purchasing a service, such as equipment or component repairs, the cost of delivery to and from our specified repairer will always be the responsibilty of the owner. If the cost of repair hasn't been met within 3 months of the completion of said repair, we reserve the right to sell the item to recover our costs, this shall include any costs accrued in the sale of the Item. Item will be sold at whatever price we are able to obtain at the time. Any monies obtained, over and above the cost of the repair will be returned to owner within 7 days, on presentation of a Bank Account number.


Listed prices are always quoted in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of GST. They are subject to change without notice in the event of price changes from our Distributors, but the price advertised at the time of payment, shall always be deemed to be the correct price. 


All goods must be paid for prior to despatch of items, unless specifically agreed to, in writing by the Management of the Website.
Payments may be made by Credit Card or Bank Transfer. In neither event  do we hold financial information from, or about our customers.
However, information may be retained by our payments provider and all enquiries relating to information held, should be addressed to Stripe International, 510 Townsend Street, San Francisco.


Items will be despatched within 2 working days of receipt of funds, except when stock is unavailable, or when circumstances are beyond our control, such as Couriers not making scheduled pick-ups.
If stock has become unavailable due to prior sales of the product, or because of unavailability through Importers or Distributors, we will contact customers within 2 working days of receiving funds to establish whether you prefer to wait for the arrival of new stock, or whether you would prefer a refund. We cannot guarantee that deliveries will take place within a specified period of time, this is outside of our control and therefore we do not accept cancellations due to a longer than forseen delivery time. We only use reputable couriers and freight carriers and all delivery issues should be taken up with the carrier in question. 


If a refund has been agreed to by the Management of the Website, or made necessary by circumstances outside of our control, such as unavailability of stock, all monies paid to PureSoundHiFi.co.nz relating to that sale, will be repaid in full, into the customers nominated Bank Account within 7 days.


All warranties are those specified by the Manufacturer.
In the case of a warranty claim, we undertake to work diligently on behalf of our customers to ensure that goods purchased through this website are repaired and returned in a timely manner and to an appropriate standard.
All freight charges incurred for warranty claims are at the customer’s expense, excepting those where payment of charges has been accepted by the Importer or Distributor of the product.


A sale may be cancelled due to "change of mind", but only prior to the despatch of goods.
We do not accept cancellations, after goods are picked up by Couriers or Freight Carriers and have left our premises, or those of our Distributors. In the event of a cancellation our normal refund policy will apply.

Pandemics and Other Acts of God

We do not accept liability for losses incurred, due to late delivery, unavailability of products, or any other unforeseen circumstance occasioned by Pandemics or other acts of God or nature.


Our Website is intended to provide general information about Pure Sound HiFi and the goods and services we offer. Whilst we endeavour to ensure all information provided is as accurate as possible, errors and omissions may occur and we do not accept liability from any party for any loss or damage that may occur from the use of our website.
This includes damage or loss from Malware or Viruses alleged to have been obtained from our Website. By using the Website you are acknowledging that you do so at your own risk.
We employ the extensive use of reviews of our products, by established magazines and reviewers, these are used so our customers may get an impartial opinion, from people deemed to have expertise in these products.
They are offered in good faith, but simply and only as a guide to the qualities of that particular product and we do not guarantee that a customer’s opinions of a particular product will coincide with those that we publish on the Website. We therefore will not exchange or refund an item purchased on the basis of a favourable review.
